If your child chooses to wear the Raz leotard with attached skirt or any RAZ shorts, they must wear tan stockings. Concert shirts are not permitted for the mid year showcase.

Stockings: All students will be wearing TAN stockings for all routines. Stockings are be available for purchase from both studios for $12.00 a pair. It is always a good idea to have spare stockings in your child’s dance bag in the event that they put a hole in theirs. If your child does not have spare stockings and Raz Studios supplies them with a pair on showcase day, an invoice will be sent via email. Students who are in Contemporary or Lyrical need to wear convertible stockings. This means they have a designed hole on the sole of the foot so that the stockings can be pulled up over the feet to expose the feet as bare. If your child is wearing is choosing to wear Raz tights for the mid year showcase, they will not need to wear stockings and they can wear plain black ankle socks with Jazz and Tap shoes and no socks for Ballet.

Shoes: Please ensure that your child has all of their correct shoes for each dance that they are performing in. All shoes are to be clean! This may mean that your child’s shoes need to be sprayed or polished. Jazz shoes and leather tap shoes can be polished with scuff stuff. Please make sure that your child’s name is on all of their shoes (both feet) and that they are packed into their dance bag.

Hair: Unless told otherwise via correspondence by Miss Lenae, all students hair is to be in a high ponytail for all dances. Please ensure that there are no ‘fly aways’ and that all hair is slicked back/down with hairspray. No fringes are to be out. Purple, black and silver hair bow or Raz scrunchie may be worn. If you are unsure of how to do a high ponytail please speak with your child’s teacher.

Boys may wear their hair styled with gel or natural.
